Adopt an olive tree

A tree of yours, in Fara in Sabina.

The idea people want now — done properly here: we assign you an olive tree, send a named certificate, tend it organically. Then we ship home the oil of that tree, or of its row while the sapling is still young.

How it works

Four steps, from the hill to the table.

01

Choose the tree

A young Carboncella to grow, or a tree already in production on the hill. Each plant has a number. Few remain each harvest.

02

Receive the certificate

A named document — yours, or for whoever you gift it to — with cultivar, number, photo and the hill of Fara in Sabina. It is not a gadget: it is the name of a real tree.

03

We tend it

Mowing, pruning, no herbicides, no synthetic chemistry. The same organic method as all our groves. You need not come to dig, unless you want to: you are the sponsor, not the labourer.

04

The oil arrives home

After harvest and the mill we ship the campaign’s bottles: the fruit of your young tree, or — while it is too young to yield litres — the extra virgin of the same row. Same land, same year.

Two things, said plainly.

A sapling does not fill three bottles in year one. So in the early years the oil you receive is from the row: same cultivar, same hill, same care. When your tree yields enough, that harvest is yours.

A tree in production gives that plant’s oil. If the vintage is lean, we bottle the row and we tell you. No magic, no invented “your litre” on the label.

Questions

Can I come and see my tree?
Yes, by appointment. We show you the row and the number. It is not a playground: it is a working grove.
What happens after a year?
Adoption lasts one olive campaign and can be renewed. If you do not renew, the tree stays on the estate: we do not uproot it.
Where do you ship the oil?
To the address you give at checkout. For a gift you can send certificate and bottles to whoever you like, with their name on the certificate.
